20+ Years of Working in Mental Health
Hello, I'm Brearley, (Rhymes with Dearly!) My pronouns are she/her/hers. I have worked with youth, adults, and their families in private practice, inpatient, nonprofit, and school settings. Most recently, in 2015 I moved to Austin from Los Angeles to work as the counselor at St. Andrew's Episcopal School.
My Space is a Safe Space
My private practice is a place for all to feel respected, safe, and heard. No matter who you are are or where you are from, you are welcome here. I come from a perspective of unconditional positive regard, meaning that I believe all people are inherently good and it is my job to support you in recognizing, nourishing, and celebrating that part of yourself.
When I'm not working
I love seeing live music, trying new restaurants, and exploring all the city of Austin has to offer. I miss my California home but Austin is pretty amazing!
